Stephanie Cleary is passionate about helping families. She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) providing home and virtual visits to families in Greenwich, CT and surrounding communities. She finds great joy in providing breastfeeding support to mothers and their babies.
Stephanie lives in Greenwich, CT. Her understanding of breastfeeding is enhanced by having breastfed her own two daughters and the experiences she and her daughters shared.
Tri-State Breastfeeding
Stephanie is the current president of Tri-State Breastfeeding Association. The Tri-State Breastfeeding Association is an incorporated non-profit organization committed to protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding in the tri-state area. Our members include lactation consultants in hospitals and private practice, nurses, physicians, midwives, childbirth educators, nutritionists, doulas, WIC educators, La Leche League leaders, and other breastfeeding advocates in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
La Leche League of Greenwich
Stephanie is a La Leche League Leader. La Leche League Leader volunteers are experienced breastfeeding mothers accredited by La Leche League International. Leaders know the importance of one mother helping another to recognize and understand the needs of her child and to find the best means of fulfilling those needs. Leaders provide information and support so that each mother can make the decisions which are best for her family.
Hudson Valley Birth Network
Stephanie is a member of the Hudson Valley Birth Network. The Hudson Valley Birth Network is a nonprofit membership organization, believes that birth is a normal, natural event for most women. We provide the public and professionals with evidence-based information about pregnancy, birth, and parenthood. We help families make the decisions that are best for them in order to give birth safely and joyously, and we ensure they have access to support as new parents.
USLCA
Stephanie is a member of USLCA. USLCA is a national leader in advancing the lactation profession. They are advocates for the value lactation care providers contribute to the family healthcare team and in other community health settings. A trusted source of continuing education and professional development, USLCA and its members strive to improve the health and well-being of children and families through breastfeeding.
